石昭明 玉山榮譽講座教授

        個人簡介

Albert Shih received PhD from Purdue University in 1991 and was a manufacturing engineer at Cummins, an Associate Professor at NC State University, and University of Michigan.  He has also served in the Advanced Manufacturing National Program Office under the Department of Commerce.  His research is the intersection of manufacturing and healthcare with a focus on medical devices.  He is the recipient of the Fulbright Scholar, SME Taylor Research Medal and Education Award, and ASME Shaw Manufacturing Research Medal, Blackall Machine Tool & Gage Award, and Ennor Manufacturing Technology Award as well serves as the Editor-in-Chief of ASME Journal of Manufacturing Science and Engineering.  Professor Shih is the Fellow of ASME, SME, and CIRP.
