Job Description

The Microscale Heat Transfer lab in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Taiwan University is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to conduct research on innovative thermal management of electronics in different levels, ranging from two-phase immersion cooling, microscale transport in a Leidenfrost drop of complex fluids, to thermal characterization, modeling and design of power electronic circuits in the die level.

Interested applications can expect to get connected with our international collaboration with France, Japan and Korea to support your professional development. Additional opportunity includes the implementation of microfluidic technology for plankton research under the framework of multidisciplinary collaboration with marine biologists and chemists. As a postdoc, you will gain expertise in several state-of-the art approaches, including microscale particle image velocimetry, flow visualization, image analysis with machine learning, and microfabrication. Preferred applications should have a strong thermal science background and strong motivation.
