Dr. Lin received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1989 and served in our department since then. His various research interest includes system design, manufacturing process modelling, product inspection and metrology. In the area of system design, his research interests now concentrated on hydrostatic system design including rotation table, slide way module, and spindle system.
