Dr. Takaaki Sato is a researcher who uses MEMS to explore the fundamental origins and significant applications of friction, adhesion, wear, and lubrication from a microscopic viewpoint. He got my Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo. Then he was a researcher at the University of Tokyo and the University of Pennsylvania before joining the faculty at National Tsing Hua University.
